Yes this will work. I have to disagree with the other poster though. While both the “red” and the “blue” servos are both excellent choices for budget servos, they both fall rather short on the stated specs. I have thoroughly tested and head-to-head compared the two I have found the ones I recommend most are this very “blue” SPT 35kg for 1:10 monster trucks, the “red” 3218 for 1:*****wd sct (slightly faster but significantly less power on testing and the “red 3218 pro for 1:*****wd buggies. Testing shows a greater variance with the red servos. On a 25kg servo one throw may register 20kg and the very next 14kg. The blue servos seem more consistent. If you are using larger heavier tires on 1:10 monster trucks such as JC concepts throwbacks then this 35kg isn’t close to being powerful enough. But for the stampede or rustler 2wd or 4wd with oem sized tires this is perfect

It strong and turns back and fourth decently but to be honest I have several of the Red 25lg servo made by DS those are a lot better and way quicker in turning!!!For the price of the red DS servo's it's unbeatable and so is the quality and durability!!!I just tried the SPT cause it was a flash deal and matched the color scheme if my rc crawler.lol...I do recommend it but if I jad a choice I would go with the DS servo's!!💯Hope this helps anyone looking to purchase a servo and have a great day!!👍🙂

i don't know how it will handle sustained continious usage, but its pretty strong servo, i test used it on my rc track before triming it and reducing its power, and it cut my steering cups bolts like butter, it manage to bend the aluminium steering rods pretty bad in no time. i test it on the bench it can lift easy 30kg. it hasbthe torque but i dont kbow if its durable enough to sustain this load for too much time. the only cons is that its not so fast but in my application doesn't matter, i use it on a heavy all metal crawler.

Q:
will this work on traxxas maxx? is it faster and stronger torque than the stock servo on the maxx?
also please reccommend servo bracket and servo horn to match this.

In this thought, should you get a 90º one then? In the case of this servo, in the product itself it marks 90º-120º for rc car, what in fact does that mean?

The difference between them is the rotation stop point. For example the 180 degree servo when centred will rotate 90 degrees in one direction and then again 90 degrees in the opposite direction. For your ZD Racing application the 180 is what you need. The 270 would be more for a robot or something where a longer travel is required

Directly, no. But if you mean you plug it into your receiver and your vehicle runs 4s then by all means. Your esc has something called a BEC or battery eliminator circuit which regulates the voltage to the receiver. Old school cars didn’t have this and had to run separate 4AA pack to power the servos so they didn’t over voltage.
